MADE IN STIRLING!!!

My work is to be viewed by a board of directors for the store called Made in Stirling. I feel confident that my work will be excepted as the cushions will be good sellers and are packaged beautifully. The ethics behind the production is also a good selling point.  I should know within the next 2-3 weeks but I hope this works as a platform to show case my work before taking it to other Boutiques around Scotland and hopefully beyond.

FINALLY !!!!

was waiting an unimaginable length of time due to a problem with customs however they are here now an can honestly say they are a product I can take great pride in. The fabric feels live fine velvet or suede and is of the highest quality. I feel the introductory price is marked way to low (£27.99) for the luxury quality produced so will revise pricing at the end of this month.

Stained glass project

Using acrylic paint +masking fluid in experimenting with various close up detail of the window from Glasgow cathedral ⛪.  It's taking ages for each layer to dry but I am hoping at the end to have a successful composition to put on to a larger canvas.

Field Research

I have two trips planed this week to gather visual information the first is tomorrow to Glasgow botanic gardens, as I am keen to gather more images of nature in all its beauty while we have a brief brake in the Scottish whether.  

the second trip is planed for Friday where apparently the rain will be back with a vengeance, lucky it its an indoor trip.  I will go to Glasgow cathedral and St Mungo Museum  of Religious Life and Art. I Have had a lot of interest about the spiritual work I am doing and feel my self growing spiritually as I do so.  I have started looking a lot more in to the teachings of Christ and have found myself drawn closer and closer to faith in doing so.

NEW DRESS DESIGNS

The new dress designs have been really popular, most of all the Wings and Fire design.  lots of followers would really like to see maxi dresses available but the company I am working with (ArtOfWhere, Canada) don't produce them.  I am going to look at other that might produce but it will be difficult to find one that is as eco friendly and producing the quality for such a good price.
