out in edinburgh today taken photos, i found lots of facenating views of windows of on multi story buildings espeually in the closes. while taken these i found a great deal of intrest in the drain pipes and guttering. the shapes angels and conections between them, spreding over the back of the buildings leading to and from unseen spaces seemed to show a never ending conection between the filth of edinburgh, which is piped away from the city.
i also veiwed the 'town and city' exhbition in the national gallery which show old images of many towns across scotland. there was an old image of advicats close which showed the the filth and dacay in which people of the time lived. this could tie in neatly with the drain pipe idea.
